Mr. Kneen joined Cold Bore in 2020. Before joining Cold Bore, Mr. Kneen was the Co-founding Partner, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer of BPOC, LLC, a Chicago-based private equity management firm. At the time of Mr. Kneen’s departure, BPOC had approximately $1.2 billion of AUM. Prior to founding BPOC, Mr. Kneen was the Chief Financial Officer of Alterra Healthcare, a Wisconsin-based provider of assisted living and memory care services that was carved out of Evergreen Healthcare, where Mr. Kneen was the Vice President of Acquisitions and Corporate Development. Prior to Evergreen Healthcare, Mr. Kneen founded Premier Lifestyles, an Illinois-based management company that focused on operational turnarounds of senior housing opportunities. Mr. Kneen began his career at Coopers & Lybrand (now part of PWC) before joining the Prime Group and ultimately founding Premier Lifestyles. He is an alumnus of The College of Wooster (BA) and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management (MBA). Mr. Kneen is a Certified Public Accountant (Registered).

Mr. Kneen is married and lives in the suburbs of Chicago.  His civic engagements include service as a Director of the Western Golf Association / Evans Scholars Foundation, a Trustee and Vice-Chairman of the Investment Committee of The College of Wooster, and a member of the Men’s Pro-Am Golf Committee of Lurie Children’s Hospital.
