Joining Cold Bore Capital in January of 2021, Mr. Jerry Arteaga brings a unique blend of military precision, strategic oversight, and academic rigor to his role of Operating Partner – Value Creation and Operational Excellence Lead.
With 23 distinguished years in the U.S. Army, Mr. Arteaga’s final military role showcased his adeptness in legislative affairs, serving as the Army’s Legislative Liaison to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on Capitol Hill. This strategic liaison role underscored his ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, a skill he transfers seamlessly to the private equity space.
For 16 of those years, he was immersed in the challenging terrains of the Special Forces, notably the 7th Special Forces Group Commanders Response Force. As a Special Forces Operator, Mr. Arteaga’s breadth of experience encompasses multiple operational and strategic-level positions spanning the U.S. and international domains. His commitment to service and leadership is evident through his 23 operational deployments across three distinct geographical regions.
Beyond his military credentials, Mr. Arteaga is also an academically accomplished individual. He boasts an Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Adding to his educational accomplishments are master’s degrees from both George Washington University and The National Defense University in Washington, DC. These, coupled with his undergraduate endeavors at Norwich University, furnish him with a comprehensive business acumen and strategic mindset.
As he pursues a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from Liberty University, Mr. Arteaga continues to amplify his commitment to lifelong learning and its application in the real world. His ongoing academic journey promises to further enhance Cold Bore Capital’s strategic vision and operational prowess.
